Description
The Watt New York Blue Edition is a special version of the Watt New York. The striking colors in the frame, white tires and orange Brooks cambium saddle and grips ensure that the e-bike is a feast for the eyes.
Light and strong frame
The aluminum frame of the New York Blue Edition makes the bike light and strong. The e-bike weighs only 16 kg. This makes it no problem to cycle without pedal assistance or if your battery is empty. In addition, a heavy resistance (gear ratio) of 2.75 has been used. This stands for the ratio between the sprockets at the front and rear. This ensures that you cycle well at a high speed and that you do not have to pedal hard. This does mean that accelerating is harder when cycling away. Fortunately, this is remedied by the strong motor that provides immediate support.
Up to 25 km/h support
The electric motor of the Watt New York Blue Edition can be found in the rear axle and has a power of 250 Watt. The drive takes place via a rotation sensor in the crankshaft. Because the motor is mounted in the rear wheel, this gives the bike the most natural riding experience. A normal bicycle is also driven by the rear wheel. The motor has 5 positions from 5 to 25 km/h. The more you pedal yourself, the less power the motor uses and the further you can cycle with assistance.
Disc brakes
Riding an electric bicycle makes you slightly faster than on a normal bicycle. With the mechanical disc brakes on the Watt New York, you can be sure that you will stop in time. In addition, the bicycle is equipped with an integrated front light, so that you can also see where you are riding in the dark.
Invisible battery
This e-bike from Watt has a battery which is concealed in the down tube of the frame. This is the ideal place for a battery, as it ensures perfect weight distribution and makes cycling feel natural and familiar. You can charge the e-bike by connecting the supplied charger to the bicycle. Charging takes approximately 3 hours. The battery is not removable, but it is easy to replace. The range of the battery is 40 to 70 km on a full battery. Ideal for daily commuting.
